Our home is in the southern portion of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  We are on Emerald Isle, a 25-mile long barrier island just off Morehead City in North Carolina.  The area is sometimes called (by the Chambers of  Commerce) the Crystal Coast.  Our town is Pine Knoll Shores and our house is located on the Intercoastal Waterway on Bogue Sound
